POSITION OVERVIEW

We are looking for a dynamic senior sales professional who will contribute to the next growth phase of nToggle. The ideal candidate should be familiar with selling into the complex advertising technology industry and possess both a sales and technical background that enables them to drive engagements at the CXO level as well as with software developers and IT architects. 

The Director of Sales is responsible for managing the entire sales cycle from inception to closure including: prospecting, discovery, evaluation, proposal, justification, close, and upsell / teaming with the Technical Account Management team.  This is an individual contributor, quota-carrying, strategic sales position.

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Understand programmatic ad technology from an intellectual and applied perspective and demonstrate that knowledge to earn credibility with buyers
  • Interpret the full scope of buyers’ businesses including industry trends, product capabilities and understand how nToggle fits into their broader business strategy
  • Highly motivated, self-starter who can maintain a robust sales pipeline and meet or exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets
  • Active account engagement and collaboration with Technical Account Managers and engineers to ensure smooth and timely onboarding, adoption and upsell
  • Ability to represent nToggle at trade shows and other industry events
  • When appropriate, collaborate with partners to manage joint selling opportunities
  • Expect moderate domestic and international travel

EXPERIENCE

  • Three to five years working in AdTech, preferably in programmatic, through a role at a SSP, ad exchange, DSP or data/measurement provider
  • Deep relationships in the AdTech ecosystem (preferably buy-side) and understanding of digital advertising and programmatic trading landscapes
  • Demonstrated success as a pure seller that uses value selling techniques to close business
  • Proven track record of identifying, developing, negotiating and closing new technology deals while coordinating closely with legal counsel and cross-functional team members 
  • High energy and passion for working in a fast-paced start-up environment; comfortable with a dynamic, high-change company and industry
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation, organization and analytical skills
  • BA/BS degree required, graduate degree a plus
